📕Day 41: Journal Volume l -Being Part of Society
📕Take a *Free Daily Walk* & Journal thru my book-series w/Me-Now
Today’s recovery journal meditation is about choosing to not live our life in isolation. We need people to flourish.
In recovery, we learn it is a “We” thing not a “Me” thing. We learn this by observing others living this recovery life. We make the choice to come out of our shell because we feel safe in the atmosphere of recovery. It is a profound experience for many of us who have scars from our life events. Trust does not come easy for many us, but because it isn’t forced it naturally happens.
Heading into my day now, I remember I used to think it was cool to be a lone wolf, -because I could do as I please and not confer with you. In reality, I just didn’t know how to be part of the pack. I am reminded to share my life with others on this road. I’ll back these words up with action. I am also reminded, to be open minded to playing well with others. Knowing that being part of society means I choose to not stand at odds with everything. Instead I keep it simple, and simply interact to the best of my ability. You can choose to act this way too.
