đTake a *Free Daily Walk* & Journal thru my book-series w/Me-Now

Todayâs recovery journal meditation that I am relating to is from âI didnât ask to think this way, I just do...â. Book l Visuals, p.56. It is about realizing that our way is not working and letting someone else in to show us the way out. When we are in the grip of struggle it can seem extremely lonely and endless.
In recovery, we take direction. When it comes to struggling some of us have made an art of it, so it creeps in often. We learn to reach for others input concerning our lives. We may not always like how the input comes about, -but we know the results are better than what weâve got. We know that the person that we are confiding in has our best interest in mind and -that nothing is expected in return. So, we donât waste their time, we take direction.
As I start my day now, I am reminded not to struggle unnecessarily. I am also reminded that if I start to struggle today to ask someone I trust for a few suggestions. We cannot be the sole influence in our recovery, the antidote for struggle is taking others direction. I will do this. You can do this as well. If you choose too.
