Day 53 Journal Volume l -God Doesn’t Give Up on Us

Today’s recovery journal meditation is about badgering God. Higher Power can handle whatever twisted question we’ve got. We might not like the answer. We venerate God, in a true relationship –by being all facets of who we actually are. He made us with this creative mind –so we don’t hide it. Sure -we will struggle still, -God refines us in His time. God doesn’t give up on us, -so don’t give up on you either. Read the meditation!

“Day Fifty-Three -God Doesn’t Give Up on Us

God, why do I constantly ask You for the same things? Is it because my knowledge only contains the same routes to ask for what I think I am lacking? Am I stuck in routine words, that do nothing? Could this be the coolest question I’ve needed to ask so I might stop the skipping record to accept the gifts, that You have already given. Why do I angrily think that You give and take back Your gifts? Is it because I am human, or because I ask without waiting and forget to listen? Is it possible to accept the numerous gifts You give, and stop thinking that I am without them daily? Will I always have a million and one questions?

I know I have verbalized a lot of nonsense throughout the years and You have cared for me anyway. Thanks for not giving up on me. Keep showing me the way, to a deeper relationship than routine, meaningless words I half pay attention to. Thank You, God, for not paying half attention to me.”
