Today’s meditation is about taking a moment to ask our Higher Power for direction to cope with people and ourselves.

Day Eleven: Seeking Guidance & Harmony God, I seem to have gotten tangled up in other people's words. People's opinions are bothering me again. Somehow, I became stuck worrying if I will be okay because I don’t feel okay.

Higher Power will You help me think and see clear of other-people’s stuff? While You are at it, please-oh-please, show me how to deal with my own thoughts and behaviors, so I can live in peace with the world around me today.

Focus today's meditation on Step Six -We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

When I admit that I am powerless (Step 1) over what other people say or do it helps me come back to my behavior and tend to what is eating at me. Step Six helps with this. Is there some fear I'm avoiding or an anxious thought that I won't be okay if things don't go my way? I can turn (Step 3) my fear and anxiousness, that I noted in Step Six, over to my Higher Power's care, that means I will let go and let God handle things and people. Practicing in real-time the spiritual principles of trust and faith.

Going forward now –I know that my direction is to put one foot in front of the other and just be the best version of me, possible, to whatever’s in my path today. (Step 12)

Homework: Google Step Six and read some info to gain more insight into -the Six Step.
